Société scandaleuse. J'aurais 6 pages à écrire mais pour être concise, du moment où nos affaires devaient prises en charge à aujourd'hui, 2 mois et demi après avoir déménagé (Montréal - Normandie) tout est un fiasco. Les prix ont doublés par rapport au début, à cause de grèves nous avons dû payer un supplément pour transporter et stocker nos affaires, la première soumission il y'a 8 mois indiquait 5,7m3, nous avons mesurer chez nous pour ne garder que 4m3, finalement ils en calculent 7 ce qui est IMPOSSIBLE, on apprend 1 mois après le déménagement que finalement le prix est le même que ce soit 1m3 ou 6m3. ENSUITE, personne ne donne de nouvelles si on ne les appelle pas. On nous avait dit au début qu'en 4/5 semaines max on aurait nos affaires en Normandie, ça fait presque 3 mois et nos affaires sont encore au port, enfin on ne sait pas trop. À cause des grèves ça devait partir le 27 décembre, 6 janvier aujourd'hui PERSONNE ne nous a contacté ! Toute notre vie est dans ces cartons et leur slogan qui dit que l'humain est leur priorité bla bla bla FOUTAISES ! Personne ne s'occupe de nous. Je m'attends à rien d'autre qu'une pauvre réponse à cet avis qui sera : désolée pour ce que vous ressentez, sachez que nous allons faire le maximum pour ne pas vous laisser tomber !Lire la suite

This is genuinely sad that I have to write this review as the company is completely ignoring my emails to reimburse me the items (antique table and desk) that have been damaged. I paid for an insurance and still they refused to respond and pay me back for a desk that can't be used anymore and an antique table that has been severely damaged.
So here is why I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company:
I paid everything in advance, the moving, insurance, etc at a value of 8000+ USD. I have been in talk with them to move my personal belongings from France to Canada since August 2023. By February 20, 2024, despite again paying in advance for everything, I did not 1) received the documentation to get reimbursed by my company despite asking constantly to receive said documents (proof of payment and for which services) since October 2023; and 2) nobody came to pick up my belongings in France. Nobody answered my emails or phone calls. I had to chase them constantly. They gave me half the information I needed each time when/if they responded to my communication. So as of February 20, 2024, with a big financial hole in my bank account and no personal belongings picked up, I felt completely scammed. That is when I wrote my first review about the company to tell people to absolutely not choose this moving company.
After this review, they suddenly messaged me and called me every single day. Even the CEO, or whatever his high position is, called and emailed me non stop to ask me to remove the review, being way more concerned about clients refusing to keep working with them and the money lost, than actually fixing my case. I told them I would remove the review when/if they pick up my stuff and I receive them. Suddenly, they were all available to help me... They picked up my items in March 2024. I received them in April 2024. I was planning on removing my review only once I receive my items, but the CEO and one of his employees kept harassing me by call and email every day!!! I removed the review as I thought and hoped I no longer had to deal with this madness. However after receiving my items, I noticed all the damages on my antique table, and my desk was no longer stable (the wood was damaged and they didn't remove the feet which ended up being damaged to a point I could no longer use the desk). The movers told me to reach out back to AMOOV as I paid for the insurance. I reached out to them over and over again, and I filled out the papers. Instead of telling me I didn't fill out the papers correctly, they just didn't want to pay anything for the desk. I reached out back OVER AND OVER AGAIN with new documents. To this day, December 27, 2024, I am still waiting for them to respond to my emails and pay for the damages. I am absolutely fed up with them. Zero professionalism! I am utterly shocked they are still in business. Who is paid to work and does not respond to any emails?? How is that even an option?!Lire la suite

Devoir relancer chaque semaine pour obtenir des mises à jour et recevoir toujours la même réponse, 'c'est sur le point d'être expédié', n'est plus acceptable. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir choisi une autre entreprise - et nous sommes absolument dévastés.

This company was simply a catastrophe. They don’t provide any written documentation. Everything is planned online and seems fine at first, but the contact person they provide doesn’t respond. They don’t follow up on your case unless you constantly chase them. The deadline was not respected at all, and although they promised to make a gesture of goodwill, we are still waiting.
Moreover, if you ask them to honor their promises and do their job properly while respecting your rights, they will find countless ways to make the situation even more frustrating—blocking certain transactions and resorting to underhanded tactics.
Anyway, the move, which was supposed to take 2 months, ended up taking more than 6, and they charged more than what was initially quoted.

So far the shipment delivery date is delayed and the cost of some items is 3 times higher than quoted (and 4 x the actual 3rd party provider cost). Time will tell if when the shipment arrives we have an overall ok experience. So far 2/5 Amoov have the opportunity to improve. I have worked in international freight and logistics for over 30 years and so I know what good looks like and I am waiting to see it from Amoov.
