The loading went relatively smoothly, even though only one of the three people spoke French.
It was after unloading that I noticed the problem: some of my tools were missing (Makita drill with two batteries, calipers, adjustable wrench, drill bit set, screwdrivers, etc.). They had taken what they needed from my belongings; the tip must not have been to their liking.
The truck's license plate is GY-040-**, so be careful.
I received €200 in compensation.
In short, avoid this place.
My move turned into a nightmare!
There's a lack of cohesion and communication within the company (especially between the team leader and the sales representative). Access to my apartment wasn't prepared, the truck was too small, the promised freight elevator wasn't there, the movers were short on time, there weren't enough people, and so on...
The freight elevator was old and poorly maintained (the cooling tank leaked, forcing me to collect water from my tap to refill it).
Furthermore, the operations manager arrived in a rush.
My recent furniture, in very good condition, was damaged (TV, American-style refrigerator, coffee table, sideboard, bed). Basically, only three pieces of furniture were spared (sofa, dining table, and futon).
I had taken out insurance and noted a reservation on the movers' final delivery slip. In the end, they only want to reimburse me 30 euros! It's a disgrace!!
I worked hard to pay for all this furniture.
